ABOUT FTRIFF

Who are we?

Feel The Reel is a monthly international film festival founded in Glasgow, United Kingdom. Even though FTR started as - and still is - an online film festival, we also hold live screenings, our friends from Short Stop International Film Festival making this possible. Therefore, screenings will take place twice a year and all our BEST OF THE FEST winners will have the chance to be screened in Iasi, Romania's second largest city.

Our rules

There will be a total of 12 screenings in a competition year. Feel The Reel's 'BEST OF THE FEST' monthly winner will be screened at the above mentioned location. All submissions are made via FilmFreeway.

Only short films with a duration of up to 40 minutes are accepted. All films must have been made in or after 2022 and have English subtitles (except for music videos and unless English is the main language spoken). Any genre and format is accepted (from 1 minute films to long, narrative/artistic films).

FTRIFF DOES NOT PAY SCREENING FEES. By submitting your film via FilmFreeway you acknowledge that the festival will not pay to present your work nor will it provide feedbacks or reviews in the event of your film not having been accepted.
